TikTok experiments with allowing 3-minute videos

TikToks may soon be getting a little longer.
The mega-popular social media app, famous for its short, funny clips, is experimenting with allowing users to post videos as long as 3 minutes.
TikTok currently limits uploads to a maximum of 60 seconds, forcing users to get creative as they pack as much content as they can into the short timeframe.
The change was first spotted by social media consultant Matt Navarra, who posted a screenshot to Twitter of the app update.
A TikTok spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
