Several kids among 7 dead after fiery crash on Florida highway

Several children were among seven people killed in a fiery crash that sparked a blaze on a Northern Florida highway on Thursday, officials said.
Two large trucks and two passenger cars smashed into each other in the deadly wreck on Interstate 75 near Gainesville at about 4 p.m., local police authorities said.
Police were investigating the crash as a homicide, but did not elaborate on why.
The crash spilled 50 gallons of diesel fuel that ignited a massive blaze on the highway, authorities said.
Eight people were rushed to hospitals after the crash, where seven were pronounced dead, cops said.
It’s not clear if the victims were killed in the fire or in the crash, authorities said.
Names of the victims were not immediately released.
