CBSE Class 12 Board Examination Results Declared

NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education or CBSE has posted results of its Class XII board examinations on the websites www.results.nic.in, www.cbseresults.nic.in and www.cbse.nic.in.

The results were announced at 12:40 pm today.

Students can also use SMS or text message services of certain mobile phone operators.

Or they have the option of getting results through an Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) by dialing 24300699 (Delhi), 011-24300699 (other parts of the country).

MTNL subscribers can call 28127030 (Delhi) and 011-28127030 (other parts of the country).

Officials said the results of the Class X would also be announced on May 27.

This year there was massive controversy over the Math paper, which has been called the toughest in a decade. Many students had emerged in tears from the examination hall after the Math exam in March, complaining that it was extremely tough, tricky and too lengthy.

Students have said they are pinning their hopes on some lenient marking in that paper.

The CBSE, in a statement, said post-result counselling would begin on Monday and would continue till June 8. Students can use a toll-free number — 1800118004 — for this.
