Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday that “India is ready for business” and invited Chinese companies to be a part of “Make in India” project.
The PM also assured Chinese CEOs of his personal attention.

“You must be sensing the winds of change in India. I only advise to you to come and feel the same. I assure you of my personal attention for your success,” PM Modi said.

“India-China partnership should and will flourish,” the PM said while addressing the India-China Business Forum in Shanghai.

Twenty-one agreements worth $22 billion were signed at the India-China Business Forum.
“China and India are two great and old civilizations. I strongly believe that this century belongs to Asia and Buddhism will be the unifying force between the Asian countries,” PM Modi said with “Make in India” logo in the backdrop at the podium.

Addressing the forum, PM Modi highlighted contributions of India in China’s growth and how both can contribute to each other’s development.

PM Modi said that “India and China have a lot in common and we can do a lot together”.

“India has always been a knowledge society. You have been an innovating society. The Indian concept of Zero and that of nine planets have been helpful in discoveries in China. So, our ideas had a role to play in your innovations,” the PM said.

“As we helped each other growing spiritually, we have to help each other growing economically,” the PM said.
